Provide personalized beauty experiences in a department retail environment by conducting makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommending products to meet customer beauty goals. Engage customers both in-store and digitally to build loyalty and achieve sales targets while maintaining a welcoming and organized department.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations tailored to customer needs
- Recommend and sell on-trend and luxury beauty products
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Use digital tools including text and social media to sell and build customer following
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer environment
- Manage sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges
- Maintain department organization and customer-ready presentation
- Keep current on beauty trends and product knowledge via training
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and follow through
- Drive to meet sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift
- Capability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Empathy and respect for all customers during services
