Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and perform skincare analyses to recommend products
- Engage customers to understand their beauty goals and build a customer following
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Open new customer rewards accounts to build loyalty
- Maintain department organization and cleanliness to be customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer service and ability to connect with customers
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in digital selling and networking
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Comfortable with continuous movement and physical requirements of the role
- Ability to lift items regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Empathy and respect for diverse customer needs during services
