Summary
Provide personalized beauty experiences in a luxury retail environment by engaging customers, delivering makeup applications and skincare advice, and driving sales both in-store and digitally. Maintain product and trend knowledge while contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team atmosphere. Support department readiness through organization and cleanliness and assist with in-store events and appointments.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
- Engage customers to understand needs and recommend products from on-trend brands
- Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, including text and social media
- Book appointments and drive sales for beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges while building customer loyalty
- Maintain a customer-ready department through organization and cleanliness
- Participate in trainings to stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge
- Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and proactive problem-solving skills
- Empathy and ability to provide supportive service during applications
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
