Summary
Provide personalized beauty experiences in luxury and on trend brands by engaging customers through makeup applications, skincare consultations, appointments, and digital selling to drive sales and build customer loyalty. Maintain a welcoming and inclusive department environment while staying current on product knowledge and beauty trends.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve sales goals for in store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Book appointments and drive sales for in store beauty events and services
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer experience
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and enroll customers in rewards program
- Keep department customer ready through organization and cleanliness
- Participate in trainings to stay current on products and industry knowledge
- Perform physical tasks including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle concerns with empathy
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and follow through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology for selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Comfort with continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift and frequent use of hands
- Ability to lift items regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
