Summary

Provide personalized beauty consultations and demonstrations to drive sales across brands through appointment and relationship-based selling. Use artistry techniques and product knowledge to recommend and sell the right products while working in a commissioned sales environment. Maintain vendor relationships and leverage technology and social tools to grow in-store and digital sales.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels
• Conduct service consultations to learn customer preferences and needs
• Perform makeovers and product demonstrations using artistry techniques
• Build lasting customer relationships and follow up on purchases
• Grow sales through appointment-based selling and opening rewards accounts
• Create and host in-store events and network in the community
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and identify key product focuses
• Use text and social media to engage customers and drive sales
• Work a flexible schedule based on department needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of beauty industry experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization, follow-through, and initiative
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including varied hours
• Physical ability to be on feet and move continuously for 6 to 8 hours
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Competency using technology for appointments and customer follow up
