Summary
Provide one-on-one beauty consultations and demonstrations to drive sales across brands through artistry techniques and appointment based selling. Use selling tools including text and social media, build customer relationships, and support in-store events and vendor partnerships. Work a flexible schedule with variable hours based on department needs.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels
- Conduct service consultations to assess customer preferences and needs
- Perform product demonstrations and apply artistry techniques
- Grow sales through appointment based selling and opening reward accounts
- Create and host in-store events and network in the community
- Maintain strong vendor relationships for each beauty brand
- Follow up with customers to build lasting relationships and recommend products
- Utilize technology and social media to support sales
- Handle physical tasks including lifting merchandise and stocking
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of beauty industry experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization, follow through, and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Capacity for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and handling merchandise
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds
