The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales through product demonstration and artistry, providing one-on-one consultations to recommend the right products. This commission-driven role focuses on appointment-based and digital selling while building lasting customer relationships. The stylist maintains brand and product expertise and represents multiple beauty brands in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools, including text and social media
• Conduct service consultations to determine customer preferences and recommend products
• Build and maintain customer relationships through follow-up, product suggestions, and event invitations
• Grow business via appointment-based selling, technology use, and opening rewards accounts
• Create and host in-store events and network within the community
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to stay current on key products and focuses

Requirements

• 1+ years of beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, organization, and follow-through
• Comfort working in a commission-driven retail sales environment
• Physical ability to be on your feet continuously for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
