Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives sales across beauty brands by using product knowledge, demonstrations, and artistry to recommend products suited to each customer. This role builds customer relationships through personalized service, appointment-based selling, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using available selling tools.
• Consult with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Build lasting customer relationships through follow-up, product suggestions, and event invitations.
• Create store events, network in the community, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of beauty industry experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods, handle merchandise, and lift items up to 25 pounds occasionally.
