Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales across brands through product demonstration, artistry, and personalized consultations. The role focuses on one-on-one customer service, appointment-based selling, and growing client relationships both in-store and via digital channels. This position operates in a commissioned sales environment and leverages technology and social tools to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media.
• Initiate service consultations by asking open-ended questions to learn customer preferences and needs.
• Provide product demonstrations and apply artistry techniques to recommend appropriate products.
• Build and maintain client relationships through follow-up, appointment-based selling, and event invitations.
• Create and host in-store events and network in the community to drive traffic and sales.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to stay current on key products and trends.

Requirements

• 1+ years of beauty industry experience.
• Comfortable working in a commissioned sales environment and meeting performance targets.
• Flexible schedule availability based on department needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organization and follow-through.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods, frequently bend/reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
