Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales across brands using demonstration and artistry techniques, focusing on delivering personalized service and meeting sales goals through in-store and digital selling. This role includes appointment-based selling, community networking, and maintaining vendor relationships while working a flexible schedule based on department needs.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
• Conduct service consultations to learn customer preferences and recommend products
• Grow sales through appointment-based selling and opening new rewards accounts
• Create and host in-store events and network within the community
• Maintain product expertise and seek industry trends
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for each beauty brand
• Follow up with customers to build lasting relationships and encourage repeat business
• Handle merchandise and assist customers, including frequent movement and lifting

Requirements

• 1+ years of beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization, follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift with bending and reaching
• Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
