Provide one-on-one beauty consultations and demonstrations to drive sales across brands through appointment-based and digital selling, leveraging product knowledge and artistry techniques. Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Conduct service consultations by asking open-ended questions to identify customer preferences and needs
- Grow sales through appointment-based selling and opening new rewards accounts
- Create and host in-store events and network within the community
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and identify key products and focuses
- Follow up with customers to build lasting relationships and suggest new products
- Demonstrate products and artistry techniques to maximize demonstrations and sales
- Utilize technology to support sales and customer outreach
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of beauty industry experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization, follow-through, and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to move continuously 6-8 hours with bending, twisting, and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
