Bench Jeweler

Summary

Experienced bench jeweler responsible for after-sales repairs, alterations and manufacturing of high jewelry pieces, working to Maison quality and technical standards in a workshop environment. The role requires expertise in laser welding, traditional torch soldering and working with microscopes, along with strong attention to detail and time management to meet delivery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete after-sales service repairs including component functionality and restoration
• Perform after-sales alterations and adjustments such as ring sizing and chain sizing
• Execute laser engravings and laser welding tasks
• Perform soldering using traditional torch techniques
• Work on 18k gold and platinum pieces
• Manage precious metal and workshop time management systems
• Maintain assigned equipment and shared workshop areas
• Meet workshop productivity quality and delivery KPIs
• Ensure daily compliance with workshop health and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in jewelry repair and manufacturing
• Expertise in laser welding and traditional torch soldering
• Experience working with a microscope and in fabrication and assembly
• Basic computer proficiency including MS suite and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong verbal interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork
• Ability to self evaluate work following workshop protocols
• Experience with laser engraving is an advantage
• Fluency in French is a plus
