Job Description

Summary

As a Benefits Manager at EssilorLuxottica in Mason, OH, you will oversee the Company's leave of absence and disability programs across North America. You will serve as a subject matter expert, managing vendors and collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and efficiency in benefits administration.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all leave policies and disability programs in accordance with Federal and State employment laws.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for HRBPs, the business, and employees regarding benefits and LOA programs.
  • Lead the Job Fill Review Committee and make recommendations on job fill requests.
  • Manage LOA workstream for integrations in North America for newly acquired and legacy companies.
  • Research, lead, and implement changes to paid state leave programs.
  • Collaborate with payroll, HRIS, employment counsel, and compliance teams to drive results.
  • Monitor effectiveness of existing practices and recommend changes.
  • Manage state disability claims, LTD claims, and terminations.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of employee benefits experience, including leaves of absence/disability.
  • Strong knowledge of leave program regulations including FMLA and ADA.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Intermediate skill in Excel.
  • Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
