Responsibilities- Manage all leave policies and disability programs in accordance with Federal and State employment laws.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for HRBPs, the business, and employees regarding benefits and LOA programs.
- Lead the Job Fill Review Committee and make recommendations on job fill requests.
- Manage LOA workstream for integrations in North America for newly acquired and legacy companies.
- Research, lead, and implement changes to paid state leave programs.
- Collaborate with payroll, HRIS, employment counsel, and compliance teams to drive results.
- Monitor effectiveness of existing practices and recommend changes.
- Manage state disability claims, LTD claims, and terminations.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of employee benefits experience, including leaves of absence/disability.
- Strong knowledge of leave program regulations including FMLA and ADA.
- Vendor management experience.
- Intermediate skill in Excel.
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
