Summary
The Boutique Director leads and develops the boutique sales and operations to meet sales and profitability targets while delivering exceptional personalized client experiences. The role requires inspiring leadership, community relationship building, and hands-on involvement in client development and store presentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop boutique team to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans
- Deepen client relationships to drive lifetime loyalty and increase spend
- Coach managers and staff on client development activities and selling ceremony
- Actively participate on the sales floor and manage key client relationships personally
- Identify business opportunities and implement action plans to meet targets
- Hire and mentor talent to create a best in class service and selling environment
- Develop and execute store action plans for recognition, reward and career growth
- Optimize hospitality and store amenities to create unique client experiences
- Engage with community partners to build brand presence and drive results
Requirements
- 5-10 years retail, hospitality or cross industry experience
- 5-10 years management experience
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Strong presentation skills and advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
- Experience with video telephony tools such as Zoom
- Proven history of relationship development within the community
- Ability to manage multiple commitments to clients, teams and operations
- Multilingual skills are a plus
