Summary
The Boutique Director leads the Cartier boutique in Charlotte, elevating the team to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve or exceed sales goals. This role drives boutique growth, develops high-performing teams, cultivates lasting client relationships, and ensures operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead commercial strategies, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to grow sales and meet key performance indicators.
- Build and develop high-performing teams through talent planning, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
- Lead the boutique's client development vision and cultivate exceptional client and prestige relationships.
- Partner with corporate and cross-functional teams to implement initiatives, adapt to change, and improve the client experience.
- Oversee boutique operations, inventory, expenses, compliance, safety, and security while upholding Cartier standards and Maison image.
Requirements
- Seven to ten years of management experience, especially in luxury retail or hospitality.
- Experience leading leaders and managing direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus; additional language skills are a plus.
- MS Office experience required; SAP knowledge preferred.
- Strong business acumen, analytical and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Availability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel overnight for training, client events, and business events as needed.
