Boutique Director

Summary

The Boutique Director leads and manages a high performing boutique team to deliver exceptional client experience while achieving sales and business objectives. This role plans and executes the boutique business plan, controls costs and ensures operating processes and visual standards are maintained and improved. The Director coaches staff, represents the brand, and provides solutions to day to day and longer term business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model to ensure exceptional client service
• Plan and execute the boutique business plan to meet KPIs and profit targets
• Manage discounts, costs and operating budgets
• Performance manage colleagues and provide coaching and development
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and till transactional procedures
• Organize daily and weekly tasks through delegation and participation
• Run and participate in floor training, meetings and VM changes
• Complete required training through e learning and other sources
• Travel for business when required

Requirements

• Considerable retail management experience, ideally in a luxury environment
• Proven track record of sales achievements and performance delivery
• Jewelry product knowledge
• Ability to develop business strategies and work to budgets
• Numerate with ability to analyse sales performance
• Experience leading, mentoring and coaching teams
• IT literate with CRM experience
