Summary
Reporting to the Boutique Manager, this role maintains boutique operations and supports profitability by managing inventory, stockroom organization, deliveries, and administrative operations to ensure efficient daily store functioning.
Responsibilities
- Maintain permanent accuracy of store stock and conduct weekly and monthly cycle counts
- Organize and supervise stockroom and on-floor stock to ensure impeccable presentation
- Receive and control deliveries from the central warehouse
- Manage stock transfers between stores and stock sent for commercial activities
- Organize end of season returns and complete store supply orders
- Participate in morning briefings and communicate operational updates to the team
- Support stock requests from team members and share inventory results with finance
- Manage shipping and VAT documents and book couriers and deliveries
- Support manager in formalizing and updating boutique operating procedures
Requirements
- Previous retail experience; luxury or jewellery retail preferred
- Strong customer service understanding and ability to build customer trust
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lb regularly
- Ability to reach, bend and occasionally use a ladder to access product
- Experience handling shipping and inventory documentation
