Branch Security Officer

Summary

The Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for clients and employees while serving as a visible store ambassador. This role blends customer-facing responsibilities with back-of-house security operations, loss-prevention, and incident response. The officer supports daily store operations including opening and closing procedures and routine equipment and facility inspections.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible security presence to deter theft and ensure customer and employee safety
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, following incident management procedures and reporting as required
• Conduct daily inspections, alarm tests, equipment checks, and key access controls
• Support opening and closing procedures and other store operations tasks
• Partner with senior security staff and store management on loss-prevention initiatives
• Deliver exemplary customer service and act as a store ambassador to enhance the client experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Experience in a retail or security environment; 1 year prior security-related experience preferred
