Responsibilities
- Deliver sales and profit performance using key tools and resources to drive selling
- Support execution of company and store initiatives and maintain store standards
- Participate in team training and provide feedback to management on successes and opportunities
- Engage customers through creative outreach and alternative purchasing processes
- Broaden product discovery using QR codes digital catalogs and virtual stores
- Champion brand values and support a collaborative customer centric environment
- Engage in community outreach and networking to source talent
- Maintain productivity through effective store execution and uphold policies
- Operate register and assist in store operational tasks including stocking and merchandising
Requirements
- Retail or similar industry experience in a high volume specialty environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel
- Capacity to stand walk and maneuver on the sales floor and lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to operate point of sale systems and support alternative purchase platforms
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and possible travel
- Proven track record of building positive relationships with customers and coworkers
- Planning prioritization and time management skills
