Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and profit performance using key tools and resources to drive selling
- Support execution of company and store initiatives and maintain store standards
- Participate in and support team training to execute business results
- Engage clients through creative outreach and broaden customer accessibility to products
- Support alternative purchasing processes and digital tools such as Gladly and digital catalogs
- Provide ongoing feedback to management on successes, opportunities, and category needs
- Engage in networking and sourcing talent to strengthen the team
- Maintain exceptional productivity through effective store execution
- Uphold all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Retail or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume specialty environment preferred
- Effective communication skills with customers and store personnel
- Ability to operate register, stand, move, and walk for multiple hours
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor and lift up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and possible travel
- Proven track record of building and maintaining positive working relationships
- Planning and prioritization and time management skills
