Responsibilities
- Deliver sales and profit performance using key tools and resources to drive selling
- Support execution of company and store initiatives and maintain store standards
- Participate in team training to achieve business results
- Engage clients through creative outreach and community initiatives
- Support alternative purchasing processes such as Gladly, Click to Zoom, JRNI, and Ship to Home
- Broaden product discovery using QR codes, digital catalogs, and virtual stores
- Provide ongoing feedback to management on successes and opportunities
- Uphold company policies and contribute to a collaborative customer centric environment
- Assist with networking and sourcing talent
Requirements
- Retail or similar industry experience in a high volume or specialty environment preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
- Ability to operate register and remain standing, walking and moving for multiple hours
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and maneuver around sales floor and stock areas
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and occasional travel or overnight shifts
- Proven track record of building positive relationships with customers and coworkers
- Planning and prioritization and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and shopping methods
