The Outside Upholstery Associate upholsters the exterior of furniture frames by applying padding, fabric, or leather according to product specifications. The role uses hand tools and ensures each piece meets quality and style requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport frames to the workstation and position them on tables, lifts, or bucks.
• Apply padding and fabric or leather to frames using appropriate tools and methods.
• Correct mistakes and ensure pieces meet quality specifications before moving them to the next work area.
• Apply webbing, springs, or trim; inspect or label products; and perform other tasks as required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar field.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Consistent attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including regularly lifting or moving up to 100 pounds.
