Summary
The Supply Chain Business Analyst for Home Delivery partners with cross-functional teams to define business and technical requirements, support testing, and drive improvements in supply chain financial systems and reporting. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, operational excellence, and delivering financial analyses and dashboards to support decision-making. The analyst will also assist with month-end close activities and provide ad-hoc financial reporting for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead meetings with stakeholders to create and update business requirements for technical and functional development documentation
- Prepare and execute testing plans, identify impacts of updates, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Manage timelines, monitor project progress, and keep projects on schedule
- Maintain and manage issues and change request logs and clearly communicate status and open issues
- Perform ad-hoc daily and weekly tasks to support departmental operations and objectives
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualizations to support data-driven decisions
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports requested by leadership
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead, multitask, and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience performing root cause analysis on data and processes to identify enhancement opportunities
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and collaborating with business partners
- Experience with month-end close processes, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP or equivalents); experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Smart View, or similar) preferred
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities
