Summary
Temporary role to manage Tiffany artwork collection during a 4 month maternity leave covering inventory control, logistics, installation documentation, vendor coordination, and financial tracking to ensure accurate records and compliance with audit requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain all artwork inventory and update locations.
- Enter new artwork information and track planned installation locations.
- Coordinate and track all artwork shipping logistics and vendors.
- Maintain and document shipping invoices and expenses.
- Create and maintain artwork layout diagrams and installation guidelines.
- Liaise with installation vendors to address issues.
- Perform quarterly inventory reconciliations with storage vendors.
- Forecast shipment timelines based on international regulations.
- Maintain financial tracking and report value changes to finance stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in artwork inventory management.
- Experience in a gallery, auction house or art world setting preferred.
- Knowledge of domestic and international art shipping and logistics.
- Basic knowledge of proper artwork handling and installation methods.
- Strong organization and information accuracy.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to multi task in a fast paced environment.
- Preferred skills: Photoshop, CAD or 3D rendering experience and working with architectural elevations.
