Cashier

Summary

Provide exceptional customer service at the point of sale, ensuring a seamless and accurate checkout experience. Process transactions, manage returns and promotions, and maintain an organized, professional cashwrap area. Support store operations and contribute to a positive, team-oriented sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver friendly, professional service on the sales floor and at the register.
• Process sales transactions (cash, credit, debit, checks) and manage promotional offers and coupon redemption accurately.
• Inspect and process returned merchandise, escalating issues to management as needed.
• Execute Ship to Home orders and maintain customer profiles in the POS system.
• Support visual merchandising standards and maintain cleanliness of the cashwrap and queue line.
• Answer phones, handle inquiries, and assist with cross-selling and upselling to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• Retail or similar customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a register and POS, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive customer and team relationships.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to complete required trainings and adhere to store policies and procedures.
