Summary
Provide friendly, customer first checkout service ensuring accurate transaction processing and a tidy cashwrap. This role supports store operations, product knowledge sharing, and may be offered full-time or part-time depending on needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service
- Process sales transactions including cash, credit, debit, and checks
- Validate returns and manage promotional offers and coupon redemption
- Maintain accurate customer profiles and salesperson data in the POS
- Keep cash wrap, queue line, and surrounding areas clean and organized
- Support visual merchandising and capture reticket information
- Answer phones and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Assist with Ship to Home orders and other transaction tasks
Requirements
- Retail or similar industry experience preferred
- Ability to operate register and perform standing and walking for multiple hours
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and maneuvering around the sales floor
- Strong communication skills with customers and team members
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to complete company trainings and maintain standards and procedures
- Ability to engage in cross-selling and share product knowledge
