Cashier

Summary

The Cashier creates a welcoming customer experience and ensures accurate, seamless checkout transactions. The role also supports store operations, sales, and Ralph Lauren service standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer inquiries, and share product knowledge while supporting cross-selling and upselling.
• Process purchases, returns, promotions, and Ship to Home orders accurately; maintain customer profiles and salesperson data in the POS system.
• Keep the cashwrap and queue area clean, support visual merchandising, and complete required training.
• Collaborate with the team and contribute to a positive, welcoming work environment.

Requirements

• Retail or similar experience in a high-volume or high-profile specialty environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Ability to operate a register, stand and walk for multiple hours, and lift or climb as needed.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts.
