Cashier

Summary

The Cashier provides a welcoming, customer-first checkout experience and processes transactions accurately. This role also supports store operations, product knowledge, and a clean and organized cashwrap.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer inquiries, and provide product knowledge while supporting cross-selling and upselling.
• Process sales, returns, promotions, and Ship to Home orders accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain customer profiles, capture salesperson data, and prepare merchandise through scanning, folding, and bagging.
• Keep the cashwrap and queue area clean, support visual merchandising standards, and complete required training.
• Collaborate with the team and help identify talent through networking and sourcing.

Requirements

• Retail or similar industry experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to operate a register, stand and walk for multiple hours, and lift or climb as needed.
• Flexible availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts; overnight shifts or travel may be required.
