Responsibilities- Manage and develop cruise line accounts, driving business growth in line with company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at cruise line HQ and onboard.
- Regularly visit cruise line accounts to establish relationships and ensure MH brands remain top-of-mind.
- Support the Cruise Lines Director with distributor management.
- Identify relevant concepts and permanent programs for each account, collaborating closely with marketing.
- Negotiate and secure key activations with each cruise line account to maximize brand visibility.
- Optimize brand distribution within each cruise line, diversifying the overall product mix.
- Expand MH's footprint into the luxury segment within the cruise line channel.
- Analyze the competitive environment and share key findings with the TRD and Marketing Team.
- Support the Travel Retail Director in achieving business objectives and with forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Assist in customer business reviews, strategy meetings and RFQ/RFP processes.
- Analyze monthly depletion and retail sales data per cruise line, identifying trends and implementing corrective measures.
- Compile monthly reports on depletion, retail performance, and key activities.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Marketing degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive account management experience, with a strong preference for experience in on-trade, cruise lines and/or national accounts.
- Background with wines & spirits is a must, with on trade experience preferred.
- Proven track record in growing existing business and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong business acumen skills coupled with excellent negotiation skills.
- Budget management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong drive for results and outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent organization and project management skills.
- A “can do attitude” with the capacity to take initiatives and be creative.
- Multi-Cultural experience and sensibility to luxury and attention to detail.
- Willing to travel approximately 30% of the time, primarily on cruise ships.
