Job Description

Summary

As a Chef Regional des Ventes, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability in your region by leading a team of Sales Consultants to achieve sales targets, retain customers, and acquire new ones. This role involves coaching, coordinating with internal teams, training the team, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with various departments and utilize EssilorLuxottica's resources to support joint programs, while also managing the budget, forecasts, and performance tracking.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Sales Consultants plan necessary actions to achieve their objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to deploy effective business strategies.
  • Embodies customer service excellence by engaging in the field.
  • Guide the team on competitive intelligence and market evolution.
  • Represent the region at client events and strengthen loyalty.
  • Recruit, integrate, and mentor new Sales Consultants.
  • Create a motivating performance-focused environment.
  • Develop team skills through regional meetings and field support.
  • Provide regular feedback on team performance.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of the regional budget with the Sales Director.
  • Manage expenses (sales, travel, events) and propose pricing adjustments.
  • Contribute to regional marketing programs.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and leadership in a complex changing environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (master's is a plus).
  • 5+ years of sales management experience, ideally in medical devices or optics.
  • Strong track record in achieving targets and managing high-performing teams.
  • Bilingual French/English (oral and written) required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build partnerships.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Availability to travel within Canada and the United States (approx. 30%).
  • Strategic mindset and ability to deploy effective sales plans.
  • Coaching, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer and results-oriented in a dynamic environment.
