Summary

Shipping and receiving clerk responsible for handling inbound and outbound merchandise at the Sainte-Catherine Street W location. Role includes unloading deliveries, operating material-handling equipment, verifying shipments, packing items, and maintaining health and safety standards. Position supports inventory accuracy and internal customer needs across the store.

Responsibilities

• Unload merchandise from delivery trucks using safe lifting techniques
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
• Verify quantities against shipping documents and inspect packages for damage
• Package items, label shipments, and prepare documentation for dispatch
• Collect and return alterations, supply orders, hangers, and tidy stock areas

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a shipping and receiving environment
• Bilingual in French and English
• Ability to operate forklifts and follow health and safety procedures
