Summary
Experienced community engagement professional responsible for developing and executing community and employee engagement strategies to drive social impact and customer connections. This role builds partnerships with community organizations, designs employee volunteering programs, and plans customer experiences while collaborating cross functionally to align initiatives with brand goals. The position operates on-site four days per week in a hybrid model and supports regional efforts in Seattle or Los Angeles.
Responsibilities
- Support and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy aligned with social impact goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations nonprofit groups and local leaders.
- Develop employee engagement programs including in person virtual and skills based volunteering.
- Plan and execute community focused events and exclusive customer experiences.
- Partner with PR Social Impact and Marketing teams for consistent messaging and execution.
- Draft press materials and coordinate media outreach for regional events.
- Monitor and report on employee engagement and program metrics.
- Identify strategic partnerships that align with brand values and customer interests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications Public Relations or a related field required.
- 5 years of experience in community engagement corporate social responsibility event management or related field.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence across teams.
- Familiarity with measurement tools and reporting metrics for engagement initiatives.
- Passion for social impact and community engagement; retail or fashion experience preferred.
