Summary
The Concierge provides superb customer service to clients, acting as an ambassador within the store while maintaining expert knowledge of store layout, services, vendors, and local recommendations. This role manages inquiries in person, by phone, and by email, supports client services and sales floor needs, and assists with event coordination and communications.
Responsibilities
- Provide a consistently excellent level of customer service to all clients.
- Maintain expert knowledge of store and product locations.
- Manage incoming inquiries and requests at the information kiosk, by phone, and by email.
- Respond to internal and external client inquiries and complaints within 24 hours.
- Process gift cards for clients.
- Support client services department and act as POS super user on the sales floor.
- Develop and maintain relationships with concierge vendors and the concierge community.
- Assist with store events including lists, ticket collection, and RSVPs and respond to event inquiries.
- Ensure plasma screen text is up-to-date and comply with privacy and cyber security measures.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment.
- Good working knowledge of computer software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage inquiries across multiple channels and respond within stipulated timelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build vendor and internal relationships.
- Knowledge of local community and city recommendations.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
