Job Description

Summary

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Louis Vuitton's Texas workshop, you will play a crucial role in facilitating operational improvement programs to foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. Reporting to the CI Manager, you will be responsible for researching, planning, and executing lean programs to empower associates and achieve key performance indicators.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a change agent by driving change and implementing continuous improvement processes.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to identify and develop solutions for operational improvement.
  • Mentor associates in the use of lean tools and create a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coach and guide production artisans and supervisors in Lean manufacturing tools.
  • Collect and analyze data on plant processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor product and process improvement milestones for on-time completion and sustainability.
  • Standardize manufacturing best practices across the network.
  • Audit Lean Manufacturing processes to ensure sustainability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with an emphasis in Lean Manufacturing.
  • 0-2 years of experience in operational improvement within the manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to facilitate and influence direction.
  • Knowledge of lean concepts and tools.
  • Ability to empower teams and lead change at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Visio, or AutoCAD; Power BI a plus.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish and/or French is a plus.
