Continuous Improvement Engineer

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Louis Vuitton U.S. Manufacturing in San Dimas, you will facilitate operational improvement programs to foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. You will research, plan, and implement lean programs, empowering associates to achieve key performance indicators in safety, quality, productivity, lead time, service, and cost.

• Act as a change agent by motivating change and implementing continuous improvement processes.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to identify and develop solutions for operational improvement.
• Mentor associates in lean tools, ensuring knowledge transfer and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collect and analyze data on plant processes and performance, making recommendations for improvement.
• Supervise product and process improvement landmarks to ensure timely completion and sustainability.
• Standardize manufacturing best practices across the network.
• Audit Lean Manufacturing processes to ensure sustainability.

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering with an emphasis in Lean Manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience in operational improvement within a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence direction.
• Knowledge of lean concepts and tools (5S, visual workplace, mistake proofing, PDCA, standard work, etc.).
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Power Bi.
• Willingness to invest in continuous learning of lean principles and tools.
