Summary
The Security Control Operator at The Landmark oversees safety and security of employees and company assets by monitoring alerts, alarms and building security systems and coordinating responses. The role requires oversight of the Landmark Security Control Center, ensuring equipment functionality and providing assistance and information during incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to global alerts, alarms and events impacting facilities and employees
- Operate and monitor CCTV, card access control and alarm systems
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks of security systems and web based applications
- Initiate service calls and document actions for failed equipment
- Provide information and assistance via mass communication and notify security management of events
- Provide quality customer service to employees and visitors contacting the control center
- Complete inter department reports and logs accurately and timely using computer applications
- Partner with leadership on security investigations and review security matters
Requirements
- At least 3 years of security experience
- Proven experience in retail investigations
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and active listening abilities
- Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
- Attention to detail
- Ability to speak fluent English
- Reliable transportation and availability for rotational shifts weekends holidays and overtime
