Responsibilities- Maintain material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks.
- Monitor Material Handling Equipment metrics and address system performance issues.
- Utilize system assessment reports to improve material handling system performance.
- Communicate technical issues to Facilities Maintenance Management and Operations Leaders.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical instrumentation.
- Conduct predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of computer-based process control systems.
- Analyze system failures to determine root cause or potential for breakdown.
- Evaluate problems to determine scope, set priorities, and plan follow-up activities.
Requirements- Associates degree in electronic technology/engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of systems control knowledge and PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Working knowledge of ladder logic and PLC software such as Allen Bradley RS LOGIX 500 or 5000.
- Ability to identify, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs and components.
- Experience with automation controls systems and industrial electrical troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Warehouse Management System Software and control systems.
- Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
