Job Description

Summary

The Coordinator, Communications at Holt Renfrew is responsible for creating editorial content for both internal and external audiences. This role involves storytelling to produce compelling communications that amplify the Holts brand and engage employees with the company strategy, mission, and values.

Responsibilities
  • Write, edit, and create content for various communications channels including newsletters, digital screens, town halls, and social media.
  • Create and distribute the weekly employee newsletter and seek ways to boost readership.
  • Manage communication requests from internal teams and assist in developing communication strategies.
  • Monitor the company’s online presence and research opportunities to amplify the brand.
  • Coordinate internal events and handle administrative tasks such as invoice reconciliation and budget tracking.
  • Support communication brand standards and work with French translation for bilingual publishing.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in corporate communications, English, journalism, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of post-university work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Adaptable and comfortable with change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
