Coordinator, Visual Merchandising

Summary

Coordinate visual merchandising schedules and support the Senior Manager, Visual and Merchandising in developing high standard presentations for windows interiors and special events. Act as a point person for visual elements during event setup, assist with coaching the visual merchandising team, and maintain the visual studio and presentation standards across the store.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate visual and merchandising schedules in partnership with Senior Manager, Visual and Merchandising
• Liaise with Special Events as the point person for visual elements for event setup
• Assist with coaching and development of the visual merchandising team and lead by example
• Align and manage costs within allotted and expense budgets provided by Senior Manager
• Communicate parameters standards and directives from Store Support to the visual merchandising team
• Maintain the visual studio in a clean tidy organized and fashionable state
• Create leading edge presentations for windows and interiors while adhering to visual directives
• Source materials and props as appropriate and ensure presentations are on time and within budget

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of visual presentation experience in retail
• Post secondary education is an asset
• Fine Art training or related design school diploma
• Formal or equivalent visual presentation training
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
