You will work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance across business units.
Responsibilities- Draft, review, and revise transactional agreements, notices, documents, and correspondence related to distribution and wholesale business.
- Draft, review, and revise a wide variety of commercial agreements, focusing on digital, technology, e-commerce, and SaaS agreements.
- Assist with regulatory and corporate governance filings related to Richemont Americas corporate entities.
- Conduct legal research on transactional issues and provide summaries and recommendations to the legal team.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, business units, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
- Maintain accurate and organized files and records related to all transactional matters.
- Assist with related matters impacting America's legal operations and strategic objectives.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, preferably in paralegal studies or a related field. Paralegal certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a paralegal, focusing on transactional work.
- Strong understanding of commercial transactions, distribution, emerging media/ad tech, e-commerce, marketing, entertainment, and competition law.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Superb organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with legal research tools and document management systems.
- Ability to work in-person in New York City or Shelton, Connecticut, with flexible work policies.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
