Summary

Provide personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations to clients at a retail cosmetics counter located in the North Michigan area. Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and maintaining product knowledge for Mercier Trish cosmetics. Work part time in a fast paced, client focused retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and conduct beauty consultations to assess needs and recommend products
• Demonstrate product application techniques and provide samples when appropriate
• Achieve individual and counter sales targets and drive repeat business
• Build and maintain client relationships including follow up and bookings
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the counter stocked and organized
• Process sales transactions and handle returns according to store policy
• Attend team meetings and trainings to stay current on product launches

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of retail or beauty advisor experience
• Strong interpersonal and sales skills with a customer service focus
• Knowledge of cosmetics products and application techniques
• Ability to work a flexible part time schedule including weekends
• Professional grooming and presentation appropriate for a luxury retail environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light stock tasks
