Summary

Cosmetics Beauty Advisors provide personalized fragrance and cosmetic consultations to customers, building client relationships and driving sales at a specialty counter. They demonstrate product knowledge, perform live demonstrations and sampling, and maintain visual merchandising standards. This part-time role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized beauty and fragrance consultations and product recommendations to customers.
• Achieve sales targets through upselling, add-on sales, and building client relationships.
• Maintain the presentation of the counter, including merchandising, restocking, and cleanliness.
• Process sales transactions, handle returns, and manage client records.
• Participate in inventory counts and receive merchandise as needed.

Requirements

• Previous retail or beauty sales experience and strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building client relationships.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays; able to work a part-time schedule.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.
• Professional grooming and knowledge of cosmetics and fragrances preferred.
