Cosmetics Counter Manager - Stanford

Summary

Manage and oversee the cosmetics counter at the Stanford Shopping Center location, driving sales, delivering exceptional client experiences, and leading the counter team to achieve performance targets. Ensure brand standards and merchandising are maintained while building strong client relationships and coaching staff. Collaborate with store leadership to execute promotional events and maintain inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the cosmetics counter and ensure high levels of customer service
• Coach, train, and schedule counter staff to meet sales and service goals
• Drive sales through clienteling, product knowledge, and personalized consultations
• Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation according to brand guidelines
• Manage inventory, restocking, and losses to ensure accuracy
• Execute promotions, events, and product launches at the counter
• Report sales results and provide feedback to store and brand leadership

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in retail management or cosmetics counter leadership
• Proven sales track record with experience in clienteling and upselling
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Knowledge of luxury beauty products and adherence to brand standards
• Ability to work a retail schedule including weekends and holidays
• Organizational skills with attention to merchandising and inventory control
