Cosmetics Operating Assistant - Roosevelt Field

Summary

Provide operational support for the cosmetics department at the Roosevelt Field store. Assist with receiving, stocking, merchandising, and day-to-day floor operations to ensure a well-presented and fully stocked beauty department. Work closely with sales associates and management to execute visual standards and support inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process shipments, unpack merchandise, and complete ticketing and labeling.
• Stock shelves and maintain product presentation and visual merchandising standards.
• Conduct inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with cycle counts.
• Support sales associates during peak periods and product demonstrations.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom and follow loss-prevention procedures.

Requirements

• 1+ year of retail, stock, or operations experience, preferably in beauty or cosmetics.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic inventory/math ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and stand or be active for extended periods.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
