Summary

The Cosmetics Operating Assistant supports daily operations of the cosmetics department at the South Coast Plaza store. This role helps maintain merchandising standards, manages inventory flow, and contributes to a polished customer experience. The position works with store leadership and brand partners to ensure operational excellence on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and organize cosmetics inventory; assist with stock replenishment and product rotations.
• Maintain visual merchandising and display standards for the cosmetics floor.
• Support sales floor activities including point of sale operations and customer assistance during peak periods.
• Perform housekeeping and product maintenance to ensure a clean, organized presentation of merchandise.

Requirements

• 1+ years of retail or cosmetics operations experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional appearance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift moderate weights as needed.
• Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
