Job Description

Summary

Join our dynamic and engaged internship program this summer as a Cost Control Intern at Cartier in New York, NY. You will be immersed in our organization and culture, participating in a full range of activities at Richemont and our Maison's. This role involves managing financial tasks associated with boutique and specialist projects in North America.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and administer vendor contracts.
  • Manage cost control aspects including vendor onboarding, budget forecasting and tracking, invoice processing through SAP, and payment follow-up.
  • Interface with contractors and vendors for information or clarification related to invoices and change orders.
  • Identify cost variances to approved budget by working closely with project managers.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree in accounting, construction management, quantity surveying, real estate, sustainability, or related fields.
  • Desire to gain relevant financial experience in capital construction for high-end luxury retail projects.
  • Experience or desire to learn SAP, Excel, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat PDF, PowerPoint, Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills in verbal and written format.
  • Interest in construction project life cycles and cost management.
