Job Description

Summary

As a Counsel in Real Estate at EssilorLuxottica, you will support the North American business by assisting the Real Estate Legal team. Your primary responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating retail leases, providing advice on real estate matters, and reviewing related commercial agreements. This role is based in New York City, New York.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate leases for store locations, office spaces, and distribution centers.
  • Support business units on real estate matters including lease interpretation, review, and dispute resolutions.
  • Supervise lease administration and process management.
  • Perform routine legal assignments and projects.
  • Stay informed on legislation and regulations affecting company operations.
Requirements
  • JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic background.
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one US State.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in real estate law.
  • Superior writing, communication, and research skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and a motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with legal and business partners.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities.
