Craftsperson NPI

As a Craftsperson NPI at Tiffany & Co. in Cumberland, RI, you will focus on creating new product samples, ensuring design manufacturability, product functionality, and integrity. You will translate complex design concepts into reality, utilizing advanced technical craft skills and materials to work on highly complex jewelry pieces.

• Create new product samples, translating design concepts into physical samples while adhering to project timelines.
• Ensure models meet Tiffany quality and manufacturing standards and project targets.
• Fabricate multiple samples using agreed production methods and coordinate technical efforts related to finished samples.
• Collaborate with NPI leads and engineers on product functionality and manufacturability.
• Analyze and define problems related to existing production models and provide corrective actions.
• Participate in creating work instructions and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• 3-5 years of jewelry bench experience in setting, assembling, and polishing.
• Experience with nonfunctional jewelry, gemstones, and precious metal properties.
• Ability to read and interpret design renderings, CAD drawings, and engineering documents.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with team members.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
