Summary
Design and produce sophisticated visual assets that shape brand experiences across digital, print, photography, and physical environments. Based at the Dennis & Leen/Formations workshop and showroom in Torrance, the role blends elevated visual design with hands-on production, photography, and marketing collaboration. The Creative Designer supports campaigns, events, and showroom presentations to communicate high-end furniture finishes and custom work.
Responsibilities
- Create refined layouts, illustrations, and graphics informed by classical design principles and balanced composition.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines across color, typography, imagery, and visual presentation; review assets for production readiness.
- Plan and execute environmental, product, and private photo shoots with strong command of lighting and composition.
- Develop and manage visual content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
- Support digital marketing campaign development and analysis and research market trends and competitive activity.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, product development, and workshop teams to produce brochures, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate high-end marketing events, trade shows, and showroom activities.
Requirements
- Strong professional portfolio demonstrating excellence in graphic design, layout, and high-end photography.
- Proven design or marketing experience, including qualifying internships; interest or experience in luxury goods, interior design, fine arts, or high-end furniture preferred.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Figma, Canva, and social media tools preferred.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing and analytics platforms, including Google Analytics and email marketing tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to move throughout a multi-building workshop and showroom, safely lift up to 25 pounds, and work in environments with wood dust and finishing fumes; strong visual acuity and color perception.
