Summary
Design and execute environmental design concepts across Creative Marketing initiatives including windows, shop-in-shop experiences, large-scale events, and collaborations. Lead projects from concept through production while aligning designs with business and brand strategy and collaborating with cross-functional partners and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate design concepts for 360 Creative Marketing campaigns and environmental projects.
- Manage projects independently from concept through execution ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Create proposal decks, drawings, and design documents to support planning and prototyping.
- Develop vendor proposals, specifications, production files, and material guidelines for fabrication and bidding.
- Review and approve prototypes and oversee external design or production partners as needed.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and production schedules for on-time completion.
- Provide training and mentorship in VM design tools and presentation methods.
- Collaborate with NMG Leadership, Brand teams, and Creative Marketing partners to deliver experience-based designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in environmental design, retail experience design, visual merchandising, or related discipline.
- Holistic understanding of visual merchandising practices and knowledge of NDC and VM specifications.
- Full proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, and CAD applications.
- Strong communication, organization, delegation, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to think and communicate effectively in both 2D and 3D design frameworks.
- Experience managing budgets and tracking spending for design projects.
- Strong strategic planning abilities and critical thinking skills.
